Madhavan S is a student in History pursuing his Ph D from University of Delhi. His research interests lie in the social and environmental histories of Southwest India; histories of wetlands, legal history and political economy. Madhavan is studying the political history of measures of labour and land in the land reclamation projects of Kuttanad both historically as well as in contemporary times.
