Julian Ehsan is a heritage practitioner working at the intersection of archives and curation. He gives focus to people, culture, and movements that are hidden from traditional narratives, and considers what everyday stories can tell us about larger ones. Based in London, he has undertaken projects with Four Corners, Camden Local Studies and Archives Centre, and the British Library to celebrate local and family histories, working with community members to celebrate everyday lived experiences. He is currently finishing an MA Museum Cultures at Birkbeck, University of London, where he is focusing on decolonial praxis and social histories of photography.
