Ganesh was a Research Engineer with the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), engaged in designing and developing instrumentation for Spectrometry. Later switched towards Remote sensing and Mapping exercises. This transition allowed me to understand more about the usage of information sciences and technologies, and FOSS/H tools for humanities/social sciences. He is interested in questions of society and technology interactions and is also associated with the Project on AI Models at the Ca Foscari University in Venice, to understand the contemporary transformation in the digitization of space and its consequences for the working people in India.
