Devina Dimri

Community Participant Researcher


Devina is a researcher and museum professional. She is currently pursuing an MPhil in Visual, Material and Museum Anthropology at the University of Oxford. Her research interests include contested heritage, museum politics, and the use of community participation methodologies to make cultural institutions and heritage practices more inclusive and equitable. Her previous research on the Tibet Museum (in India) has been presented at international conferences and published in the academic journal Museum International. In addition, she has also written exhibitions and book reviews for wider audiences. Devina has previously worked in both India and the UK, e.g. UNESCO (South Asia Regional Office), Horniman Museum (UK), HCL Museum (India) project, Partition Museum (India) and Tibet Museum (India).
